UPDATES

We will be posting regularly to update you all as to how John is getting on.

John attended an NHS hospital appointment in Manchester Tuesday 8th August, to see if they could offer a treatment which would possess a positive outcome. He would consider this should the private route not work out, as initially the NHS said there wasn't anything they could do. However, they contacted him to go for another appointment. He didn't want to pass this opportunity by as if we don't raise the funds for John to go privately, this would be beneficial.

He went to see what they had to say. Upon arriving, the consultant hadn't been given the information that John had been given. Unfortunately, it was very negative. As John was feeling down, I had to find a positive. We now know that the NHS don't offer the treatment which could cure John; this made us even more adamant an amazing doctor in London is the only hope that we have. Although it is costly, we have to try to raise the funds to give John the greatest chance.

We won't stop until the money is raised; your support in donations and sharing is such a massive help, please keep going.

I have appointed someone to manage this cause with me, who has created the website and together with all of you, we will continue to make a difference.

I have heard SO many incredible things people are doing to fund raise. The inspirational man Rob Oliver is having is legs waxed in public and then doing a 102 mile cycle ride. You can find him on Facebook for ways to sponsor him.

So what have your contributions done so far? John is currently having tests. He had blood tests last week and the results will come back in a few weeks. Once we have these results, we will know the next step. These appointments are private and the money raised has funded this.

We cannot thank you all enough for the love you have shown.

John, Katie and family x
